<description><![CDATA[Charter Communications rating from customer: 1.0 out of 5: Horrible.  Comments from customer: Worst Customer service since I dealt with US Cellular in 1998. They quote you one price...charge you another...then when you call to ask them to stand behind their promise...they try to explain why they shouldn't have to...then they agree to it verbally...then charge you something different anyway. Round and round with these people all because I cancelled my cable and they called to offer it at a super low price $10 more than what I was paying for internet...but they never backed it up. People have been nice on the phone....but I never end up with what they agree to. They are a bunch of crooks, and I feel sorry for the people that have to work for them.]]></description>

If you get the problem resolved, a 'thank you' goes a long way. 99% of the people calling are stressed and pissed. Not a job most of us want.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Charter Communications tip: Charter is the worst cable company that you can ever have. They have horrible customer service, never make up huge mistakes to their customers, on the contrary, they usually pass their mistakes (and any charges) on to their customers.

They take advantage of rural customers who historically have had little choice with programming.  If you live in one of these unfortunate areas, I hope your not a sports fan. They block out games that other cable providers just air.  I am so done with Charter and getting Direct TV.  I would rather have the choice to watch more than ONE game on Sunday when there is 2 fox channels.  Even though in my area these two Fox channels offer two different games, they only show one, block out the other.]]></description>

She had long pauses between questions like she was speaking to someone else. All I wanted to do was return a modem. I was on hold for about 10 minutes and my call with her lasted about 7 before I hung up. I tried 1-866-472-2200 and didn't say anything until I got a human. Hold time was about 10 seconds. I spoke with a guy called Chris that helped me with all my questions and the entire call was 5 min 25 sec.]]></description>
