“BEWARE - being a stellar customer doesn't matter to them! They're charging a "membership fee" now, even though I've never been charged one before, and don't owe anything (I've paid it all off), and have never paid any balance late. Usually I pay in full, each month when ever I do charge anything. When I called them to discuss it and said I have all my records from the last 5 years to prove I haven't paid any "membership fee" all they did was insist that I have. I then asked a supervisor (I supposedly have her name and badge number - employee ID info) she said she would send me proof that I have paid a Membership Fee, and then hung up abruptly. If I don't pay the fee I will have to "Opt Out" meaning I can not have a credit line or card with them any longer - and that ends up putting a "hit" on my excellent credit score. So either way they get you!! The choices you have seem to end up being like extortion! ”
