“I have NEVER had an account with Capital One and never will. In 2006 my name was illegally listed as an authorized user on a Capital One credit card issued to my real estate partner, who threatened them with a lawsuit and finally received a letter from a "Joel Amy" at Capital One Bank in Salt Lake City; it stated that my name had been removed, with no apologies no explanations. My own letters and calls to Capital One were completely ignored. Submitting Joel Amy's letter to Experian via certified mail did nothing - and further disputes have elicited no change. Is there a corporate connection between Capital One and Experian? Gender bias is alive and well - and legal action is the only way for a woman to get redress.”
