Bank of America Customer Review - nubee

Wild goose chase! When I called to close a business credit card account, they required a letter by mail. Instead of closing it, they sent forms to fill out and return. I called customer service and entered account no, card no., and personal numbers: "Your card is activated. Bye!" I called the gethuman number, 0 0 0 ..., option 3 - and got the same "enter account number..." Nasty. I kept pressing 0 until I got a person. "Oh, we can close that now, over the phone." (wtf?) "I'll take care of that for you. Please hold." 10 minutes later: "Hi, this is Cindy. May I help you?" (wtf again?) I asked, "What happened to Stacy?" - "Who?" Well, I finally asked if the account was closed and she said it was. My turn to hang up. Moral: when the machine asks for any account numbers, don't put anything in.
