America Online (AOL) Tip from SLRNUTS

“I had AOL for 8 years all of a sudden I have been cancelled. I called AOL, the person on the other end says she can't help me. The only thing she can say is my account has been sent to the Consumer Action Team (CAT), she gave me an address and told me I have would have to write them to get any information. What's CAT? Well, she couldn't tell me. I looked it up and apparently it's where they send your account information when you have violated the Terms of Service (TOS). How can this be? I've been a loyal customer for so long. I have paid my bill with no problems. I get no warnings, no sorry but, nothing. It's as if I didn't exist as far they go. Oh, by the way, I wrote to the CAT. It's been nearly 2 months and I haven't heard anything.”
